Vadoma the Blood Widow

Vadoma is a woman of Romani blood from deep within the Carpathian Mountains of Transylvania. As a subject of the Kingdom of New Dacia, she has always known that perhaps her family would be drawn into the machinations of Vanos, the Dread Lord of Carpathia. Still, when she lost her entire family in one night, she snapped. Raiding the vault of the New Dacian king, she stole the Seal of Ahriman. Not many people in the world could energize the seal, for it requires both force of will and a near unfathomable desire for destruction. Vadoma has both.

Activating the seal summons Ahriman's avatar to Earth and once enough people fall victim to the Angra Mainyu (worst impulses), Ahriman himself can appear. To prevent anyone from stopping Vadoma, a cadre of Ahriman's evil Daevas guard her. Fortunately for mankind, a squadron of Earth's Doughtiest Defenders are ready to face Vadoma and end her madness.

Vadoma is a Romani mystic and psychic who, under normal conditions has neither the power nor inclination to be a threat. The death of her family plunged her into insanity which has allowed her to access power she would not normally possess. The Seal of Ahriman has boosted her destructive power even more. Bereft of either the seal, the grip of madness or both, she is simply a garden variety psychic and medium.
